Everyone is welcome!
Every year we run a course called Alpha - a series of 10 weeks discussing the big questions of life in a relaxed setting.
Alpha will kick off in the new year on Tuesday evenings starting 20th Jan, and Wednesday mornings starting 21st Jan.
Tuesday Evenings - 7:30pm, Kings Arms // sign up here
Wednesday Mornings - 10am, St Barnabas // sign up here
What is Alpha?
Alpha is a 10-week course that offers the chance to explore the big questions of life. Each week focuses on a different aspect of the Christian faith, and is designed to create conversation.
We’ll be asking such questions as:
- Is there more to life than this?
- Who is Jesus?
- How can I have faith?
How does it work?
Evening Alpha meets at the Kings Arms in town, and daytime Alpha in St Barnabas Church.
Each session includes some time to get to know one another over a cuppa and slice of cake, followed by a short talk and a discussion where you can share your thoughts.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment.
No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
